Downtown Boulder is a charming, walkable district known for its brick-paved Pearl Street Mall—lined with local boutiques, cafes, street performers, and art galleries. This area is common for street performances and outdoor dining.

Boulder also has First Fridays, just like Denver. In Boulder, it is held in North Boulder – NoBo – from 6pm to 9pm. There is also a “Second Saturdays”, a more low key art walk during the afternoon

Best Views Of Boulder
Panorama Point
Along the drive up Flagstaff road (which is a scenic drive on it’s own) there is a pull off spot with parking. This spot offers incredible views of downtown Boulder and the University of Colorado Campus. View is accessible by car.
May's Point
A stunning elevated view of downtown Boulder and the mountains. Amazing spot for a sunset looking west over the mountains. There are many hiking trails around that connect to May’s Point. To easiest way to get here is to park at Flagstaff Nature Center and then it is about a half mile hike.
Mount Sanitas Trail
This is a challenging hike as you will ascend over 1,200 ft, but you are rewarded with stunning views, especially as you reach the summit of Mt. Sanitas, one of the tallest peaks around Boulder. You can even see Denver in the distance if you look closely.
